Breakfast excellent and customized by host. Clean large shower/bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Delightful host speaking very good English for us. Easy walk to the centrum but with physical difficulties it might be an effort. The walk to the city goes by the regional museum. Absolutely worth a visit.

The location is superb and Huber offered us his canoe and rowing boat to explore the canals. It was so relaxing sitting in the beautiful garden next to the canal, listening to the birds and watching the various shades of light as the sun moved in and out behind the clouds which made me appreciate impressionist art. We loved the accommodation and Huber, our host was so hospitable making us feel very welcome. Can’t wait to visit again one day.

I was not familiar with the area and was trying to book something near the city center. However, despite the location, it was still a great place. There was parking, which is always good. The room was upstairs and the stairway was narrow, so be careful if you aren't good with stairs. The room was nice, and there was a fan - bonus!! The windows faced the street so it was a little loud with traffic, but once we laid down we fell asleep because we had walked all day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic!! I would highly recommend Le Vivier - the price was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. But, make sure you bring a washcloth or soap sponge - that is something I found that most hotels do not have.
