Easy going atmosphere and nice contact with the hostess Beatrice. Stayed only two nights which was definitely too short as a lot to do and explore around here

The area was lovely although it was too hot to hike for long. We enjoyed our tour of Vic-sur-Cere, organised by the Tourist Office. WE particularly enjoyed the town swimming pool and the surrounding park. The hotel was particularly quiet and the room north-facing which we appreciated when the temperatures soared to 36 degrees. The people in the area were very friendly and helpful

Wonderful welcome from the hosts. Very nice building with very pleasant, well-appointed rooms in a good location. Nice pool and terrace at the rear of the building. Private parking for our motorbikes. The evening meal was exceptional, and service was great. Had a really good night’s sleep. Breakfast was very pleasant, too, and served from early to late in the morning.

Very beautiful mountain valley view, authentic old chateau with lots of character and history, swimming pool. Several hiking paths close by, Puy Mary and Plomb Du Cantal hiking routes start within a short driving distance. The host/owner is super friendly and hospitable! The negative reviews I have seen so far focused on the presence of dogs. There are indeed two very friendly and social doggos, so unless you have an allergy - they won't cause you or your family any trouble! Village shops/bar are within a short walking distance.

The property was very traditionally French which made it feel very homely. Alain is a very kind host who made us feel very at home as well. This property is in a nice little town and ideally suited for exploring the mountains. We hope to return.

Stunning location, amazing views from the outdoor pool, great continental breakfast spread, safe gated parking, friendly host and very affectionate dogs - although be careful you don't have any trailing straps: they like to play!
