The room was big enough, clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any request we had. Absolutely recommended. The location is perfect because the bus stop to Windermere and the city centre was 2 mins away.

Everything. This place is absolutely, spotlessly clean, has very nice furnishings and bedding, the staff (especially Haley) is out of this world friendly and kind, and breakfast was delicious - made any way you wanted.

Ambleside is lovely, the hotel is in an excellent location a few minutes walk from the center, and a few minutes walk from many hiking trails in the area. The hosts are kind, they helped us a lot with every request, including recommendations for routes and even providing detailed maps. The room is large, spacious and very clean, the shower is great. The wifi reception was very good. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options and all very tasty. Vegans are also well taken care of, including excellent homemade vegan sausages, spreads and more. All very tasty. We are very happy that we came and highly recommend

Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom, great location. Cooked breakfast tasted fantastic! Our 3 year old approved as he stayed in his bed most the night which is unheard of!

Our host and hostess were lovely - cheerful, helpful, pleasant, fun. The entire facility was impeccably clean, beautifully laid out, and comfortable. Lovely location for walks. Breakfast was terrific. All in all, a terrific experience. Would love to come back, and can't recommend more highly.

Reasonably priced accommodation in Ambleside with a great breakfast menu and very welcoming hosts, own car park a definite bonus. Rooms on the slightly small side, but very comfortable. Short walk into town, quarter of an hour to Waterhead and the steamers.
