The hosts Sue and Paul were lovely and very helpful with recommending what to do and where to eat and shop around Bangor/ Belfast which made the overall stay and experience both wonderful and enjoyable. The location of the guesthouse is very central to the Marina and main streets/ restaurants and bars in the town, all within walking distance. The guesthouse and rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious providing good value for money. Highly recommended stay at Shelleven Guesthouse!

Amazing location, great for leisure time to have a walk etc. I really love here, it’s a really amazing place to help you finding inner peace to relax and enjoy. Inside of the house, you could find the historical collections, beautiful pictures, etc. Outside of the house, the view even more gorgeous than I thought. Very glad to stay there. 很棒的地理位置，很适合休闲徒步等。我很爱这里，可以帮我放松享受并找到自己内心平静的一个很棒的地方。在房子内有很有年代感的收藏、很美的照片等。在房间外的风景比我想象中的更美。很开心住在这里。

Excellent location very near train and bus station. Good restaurant with music nearby. Easy walk to town centre and huge park and museum. Beautifully appointed rooms with gorgeous bedding, lots of space. My room had a small patio. Wonderful shared home-like facilities, including laundry. Even ice available in freezer. Also excellent response from manager, when needed.

Lovely little touches throughout and essentials like milk, bread and butter (as well as a bottle of wine) left so that we didn't need to rush out as soon as we arrived to be able to have a drink...and breakfast the following morning. Pauline was very quick to help with any questions or snags. Great stay.

This is a unique place to stay that includes not only a large comfortable bedroom and ensuite bathroom, but also a large living room with sea views and a dining room. The breakfast is self-service, which gives guests flexibility and there were a range of options. It's a short drive to Belfast or Donaghadee, and the town of Bangor is within easy walking distance. Orla and Steve were very friendly and welcoming.
