Mel was a lovely host and gave us a warm welcome. Traveling with friends, so I was able to see both large guest rooms, they were lovely with nice bathrooms. We were able to use a table downstairs in the evening to play cards games. Breakfast was the best. We were each able to choose from a long list of items. Yogurt, fresh berries, toast with jam, coffee and tea and delicious hot breakfast. A British brekky, or the eggs Benedict (I ordered these both mornings)nice healthy omelettes, my husband had the haddock, excellent he said. Great way to start the day! The owner is friendly and accommodating. Tasty breakfast in the morning was an added plus. I would recommend it to everyone. The owner was even nice enough to send my earphones that I left in the car back.

Are out at the local pub Longlands which was a great recommendation, we enjoyed a walk along the canal, we will definitely return to the Lodge host was really helpful. Lodge was immaculate and very cosy. We are hoping to return in June.
