The place was spotless and the views were absolutely stunning! In a quiet village location, the house was perfect. There were plenty of breakfast options available which made tough choices what to eat! The hosts were absolutely lovely.

As usual the hosts, Sally & Ian, were truly exemplary. They offer a traditional or specific breakfast; the common room small frig holds, a yoghurt, juice, etc., if a person feels a need. They even produced an alarm clock for myself, for an early morning to meet 2 trains. We had a couple of chats, as they had met and enjoyed the company of my cousin, who was not well. The rooms and the whole entity are so clean that a nurse could not find fault. Everything has been modernized (ie a vanity mirror that is magically lighted!!!). I would say that they run a 'tight ship', but with humour and kindness at the fore.

Cameron and Danny are great hosts who have paid a lot of attention to little details that make a big difference. They are thoughtful and anticipate their guest's needs before you even know them yourself. The garden is beautiful. It is walking distance from everything and they have ample comfortable parking. The beds are the most comfortable I have come across in bnb or inns. Breakfast was tasty and ample.

The place is located close to the railway station and a walk to the town centre will only take about 5 minutes. I'll happily rebook it if I ever visit Dumfries again.
