Chaminda and his family were wonderful hosts at the Rusara Guest House. The property is in an excellent location, right next to the beach and extremely close to restaurants, gym, etc. It is about 10-15 min walk to the Cargills supermarket. The rooms were very nice and clean and the A/C worked well. The property has a small kitchen and fridge that can be used, as well as outdoor table and couches for lounging. You could easily stay here for several months and have everything you need. Would recommend 10/10!

Family/Service/Breakfast/Location There is a very nice family keeps this place. We arrived rather late and they already started to search for us over the messages and gave us cold coconut juice upon arrival. We felt very comfortable all the time to contact the family. We spent 2 days in this location and afterwards prolongated our stay till the end of our vacation. We got excellent breakfast every day and it was different from day to day. Everything was very tasty and nourishing. Our room was big with good AC, big bathroom with hot water, big bed and refrigerator. The breakfast was set in the street. 2 big towels were provided. If you need room cleaning - inform the house owner about this. The location is great - 5 min walk to the beach for locals, 10 min walk to the Fish market with fresh sea food restaurants and 20 min walk to the Bus Stand and main street. Not too many tourists visited this part of the beach, so it was very interesting experience to swim in the ocean all alone. There were no waves in the early morning the most part of our stay, but during the day they usually became bigger, so you should be very careful while swimming, because the water is very strong and able to take you to the deep. The beach is mainly for locals and they don't pay a lot of attention to the garbage on the beach, but it was not very comfortable for us, so better to use the coral slippers to walk on the beach and swim. There was no garbage in the water, but some stones/coconuts/branches can be found. There few sunbeds stand on the beach and there is a guy, who cleans the beach in few meters from these sunbeds and collect some tips if you want to use them. Be careful with your belongings - don't leave anything w/o you attention - somebody stole our slippers and not only ours. If you are looking for the surfing - the main activity is located in front of the Mariott Hotel (the highest building).

Had a wonderful stay at Weligama Bay House! The place was spotlessly clean, just a minute's walk from the beach. The host was fantastic—friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. A perfect balance of comfort and proximity to the ocean. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in Weligama!

Impeccable Cleanliness and Maintenance. Exceptional customer service, with a commitment to making my stay comfortable. Perfect location, first beach lane and 5 min by walk to main surf schools. Delicious food, freshly caught fish. Fresh juices every morning by chef!! Mr Raymond, owner of this place, kindly helped me to find the best way to get to airport and dropped me to the nearest bus station. I had a great experience by choosing this place!!!

The hotel placed 3 min on a scooter from a sea side in a calm place. We like the location. The administrator was very nice, help us with everything we need. The room is clean and matches the photos. The breakfast is very tasty. Recommend this place.

Villa Beachfront Weligama is such a wonderful place, I couldn't recommend it more! It's in the perfect location in Weligama, literally steps to the beach, you can't beat this! Plus the space is cozy and has everything you need. We were so happy with our experience and can't wait to be back! Highly recommend staying here when you visit Sri Lanka, it will not disappoint!
