The room was the perfect size with an incredibly spacious bathroom. The location was conveniently close to some restaurants, atms, and spots to collect a SIM card. And, of course, my host Kavee was outstanding. He's built something special here, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

family friendly environment. The staff are always smiling and greet you. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Amenities provided are soap clean towels, water kettle and a fridge. There’s a 2 door cupboard for your clothes and a study desk for work. Breakfast is amazing. gym swimming pool steam and sauna available. well maintained and clean. we also wanted to change rooms and we were allowed to do so. Beautiful garden in the resort to relax. the resort also organizes tours at a much cheaper rate than outside.

Great modern Bali style interior design, which I personally love compare to other properties around there. Pictures are true to what you’re getting! You get lot more than a hotel room, with mini-fridge and cutleries for the occasional snack in the room. Cute shared little garden for a morning coffee. Host was extremely accommodating and they helped out with any request I had. Reliable internet connection for Mauritius, it helped me go through hours long video conference calls. Parking is a few minutes down the road in a secured area. You’ll need to communicate and plan check-in / checkout, which is typical for individually owned properties. Overall this is great value for your money.

We arrived in Mauritius early in the morning but our flight out was late at night. So we booked this place to rest and clean up before our upcoming 20+ hours flying home. Our host arranged a pickup at the cruise terminal for us and then a dropoff at the airport (and he escorted us into the airport terminal) in the evening. We felt like we got very personalized service and the accommodations were very comfortable! Plus, everyone involved was very friendly and helpful!

The staff were very welcoming. Maison D' Hôtes Coignet is closed to supermarkets, restaurants, the bus stop, and metro station. I felt very safe. The breakfast is delicious and prepared for you in the morning. The room was very clean. I had a wonderful night's sleep. From Rose Hill you can catch the bus or train and get to any part of the island.
