Her husband Tom gave us great suggestions on where to go and eat. We wished we had more time to try everything on his list!

The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The room and all the amenities were perfect and I loved the coziness of the entire place. Not to mention, the Scottish breakfast Elizabeth made was one of my favorite breakfasts I've had! Highly recommend staying here for a friendly and genuine experience in Scotland.

The rooms are clean, charming, and equipped with everything you might need, with the exception of a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean. The owner was an absolute dream. She was nice and very helpful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. There is a bus stop two minutes away which is very convenient if you plan to ride the bus into the city center. The fare for a single trip on the bus, since it is a Lothian country bus, is £3 and you must have exact change to buy a ticket on the bus.
