The friendliness of the host family was amazing! They were very warm, constantly took care that I had all the necessities and showed me the best spots on the island; even helped me with the bike renting and the drive back to the airport! The room was also very clean and equipped with the essentials.

ゲストハウス喜舎場, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ishigaki Island, 1.7 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, 2.9 km from Tadahama Beach, as well as 500 metres from Yaeyama Museum. It’s the best guesthouse that I have been to in Okinawa (out of 4). First things first, Kishaba, the owner, is so nice and informative. The facility is amazing, from the large beds to the well equipped kitchen and the nice living room. 5 minutes walk from everything you’ll need. I will surely come back.

Located just 1.5 km from Sesoko Beach, Sesoko Blue offers accommodation in Sesoko with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. The Sesoko blue is a really beautiful guesthouse with lovely owners. Its so close to a beautiful beach where you can do some snorkeling. Every night everybody cooks and you share your meal with everybody like a big family. I enjoyed my 3 nights here and i would stay longer if i could!

It is located 1.2 km from Kondoi Beach and offers luggage storage space.... There is nothing like it! Don't wanna spoil the surprise, so go and find out. A world of Arrietty from Gibri! Best bed also for us. So comfortable!

Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. loved the guesthouse. It’s beautifully designed inside. The shower was really big. Rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Andy and Haruko are amazing hosts. The snorkelling tour is worth it, we saw sharks, turtles and snakes. Best guesthouse we’ve stayed in so far

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Guesthouse Koa is located in Miyako Island, less than 1 km from Sunayama Beach. The staff at Koa were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedroom was comfortable and inviting. Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.
