The Gite was wonderful. Great location, great access to all the tourist sites of Normandy. The hosts were wonderful and 'checked in' time to time to see if everything was ok. We had a power cut, due to a storm, and said if it didnt get sorted they would sort out some candles/torches, thankfully, not needed as fixed after 2 hours. They were even kind enough to see us off when we left for home. A great holiday was had. There were plenty of games, dvd,s for all ages, plenty of books too. They even apologised for the bad weather!!

La Ripaudiere was perfect in every way! Location was peaceful and quiet, accommodation was extremely clean, tidy and had everything you would need for the perfect holiday. Nicky and Patrick welcomed us, showed us round the house and provided all the local information. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were used extensively over the two weeks stay and was a nice way to finish off after a busy day site seeing.

Great house for a holiday with family and friends. Felt homely, well equipped, and the location made it easy to visit various places in Normandie.

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids between the ages 3-11. The entire mansion has been divided into two independent 3 bedroom houses. We had reserved one of them for 8 nights. There was no other reservation and we had the entire property alongwith the garden and the heated swimming pool to ourselves. The kids loved the heated pool and the various games (air hockey/ table tennis/ snooker etc) in the shed. There is a farm just in the backyard. Kids loved watching the milking of the cows daily in the mornings, the numerous chicken in the garden and the fresh farm milk and eggs. The place is very close to various attractions like Mont St Michel or the D day beaches and several beautiful towns. I would highly recommend this property.
