We enjoyed our stay in 'Gîte Le Murier' a lot. Most nice was the view over the mountains, the stars and the sounds of owls at night and the privacy. The swimming pool was superb and hostress Janik was very friendly!

Everything was clean and modern. The facilities in the gite were great (two bathrooms and two toilets!) with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely terrace with shade which we couldn't use very much because the temperature was over 40 celcius every day. On the other hand the air conditioning more than made up for that! The pool was perfect for the kids. The view and the ambience from the terrace was lovely especially in the early morning before the sun became too hot. The location was only a short drive from everything we came to see and do including the Pont d'Arc, the Chauvet cave, canoeing on the Ardeche, Chateau des Roure and eating out. We also found some other bathing places along the river but the kids were always happy to return to the pool after a full day out.
