A really beautiful little cottage in the perfect location. It is on the quiet high street of Sedbergh (very little noise in the evening). We had a lovely nights sleep in the bog comfortable bed.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay, with our pup Toby. The location was easy to find, clean, and tidy throughout. It’s very dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed making use of the BBQ area and firepit. Everything was just right for a relaxing break.Thank you for the treats, such a lovely touch. We’d definitely visit again and would highly recommend it to others!

Everything! This cottage exceeded my expectations. From the large well stocked dining kitchen to the comfy bed with super soft pillows everything about this cottage was fab. The property was spotless and very comfortable. There were some lovely touches including the well stocked coffee machine in the kitchen to the ornamental vase with twinkling lights in the sitting room. The champagne flutes were especially welcome as I had brought a bottle to celebrate my birthday (and drinking champagne from a wine glass just isn’t the same!). Outside space was perfect, fully enclosed so my dog could roam about safely and a couple of lovely sitting areas to relax, the garden got the sun throughout most of the day. Everything in the property was of good quality. Whittington is a beautiful hamlet with plenty of walks on the doorstep. I will definitely book again.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The location is charming and peaceful. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent!
The shared toilet was fine and very clean.
I am biased - this my favourite pub set in the centre of my favourite village. It is a glorious area. Carlisle-Settle railway nearby and there is wild swimming about 1.5 miles away. Easy to find and excellent parking around the back. Very warm welcome. Very traditional old pub on a cobbled street with a wonderful facade. Spacious room with comfortable bed. All very clean. I shall return again and again.
Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and everything was in a good condition. A lot of extras were provided like coffee, milk, cleaning stuff and hand wash. Didn't use the wood burning stove but everything was provided.
The room was very clean and warm. Great bath and shower which was very welcome after a long day walking. Nice toiletries. Sue was very helpful and filled our flasks etc ready for our day ahead. She made us dinner which was great as the pubs were shut. Provided us with sandwiches for our onwards journey which were very nice. Everything else you can buy from the shop which is right next door!
Nice location. Very clean. The building had character. Extra bedding and pillows available in the cupboards. Staff were pleasant. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was very hearty and large - proper full English well cooked.
The location in the village of Dent is great. It's a working village so expect a fair bit of activity and farmer type noise. Our room was very clean and the bed itself was ok, (see below). The host was very nice, helpful and friendly. There was a good breakfast provided, with ample choice. Great shower, always a good point for me.
Sue was an amazing host, the B&B was very clean and modern and had everything you needed.
The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a days walking.
