Carlisle-Settle railway nearby and there is wild swimming about 1.5 miles away. Easy to find and excellent parking around the back. Very warm welcome. Sue was very helpful and filled our flasks etc ready for our day ahead. She made us dinner which was great as the pubs were shut. Our room was very clean and the bed itself was ok, (see below). The host was very nice, helpful and friendly. There was a good breakfast provided, with ample choice.
