There’s loads of small touches that we greatly appreciated and Julia is a wonderful host. Couldn’t recommend this place more, if you’re staying in Langford.

The house is wonderful! It has all you could need and more. It’s very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s easy to cook there, and has a fantastic range of equipment, including an air fryer and gas hob. It’s a great place to socialise. The beds are comfy, and it’s very quiet. The garden is just so special- it backs onto woodland and there is an abundance of birds , and even rabbits. There is a woodland trail out the back which is worth walking, the views are spectacular. We absolutely loved staying here, and highly recommend it. It’s only about 20 mins to drive into Victoria. The host, Hassi, lives in the suite, so he is accessible if needed, and is very friendly and helpful.

Very nice updated suite. Very clean and well appointed. Quiet location. Did not see any staff around the resort but off season likely the reason. Facilities well maintained. Highly recommend...great value! Close to Parksville.

The kitchen was perfectly appointed—sharp knives not in a knife block (a rarity in rentals!), an induction cooktop, and not a hint of clutter. It was stocked with exactly what you need. The thoughtful touches extended far beyond the kitchen. A wall-mounted case held outdoor towels, perfectly positioned for convenience. There was even a foot wash at the entrance to the hot tub—a detail that elevated the experience and kept everything tidy. Beautifully scented soaps and the serene view were nothing short of breathtaking. This rental isn’t just a place to stay and make do. The combination of intentional design, thoughtful details, and a stunning natural setting makes it a true retreat. I can’t wait to return.
