We stayed 2 nights and it wasn't long enough! Our apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and our host, Pia, made us feel like family. The accommodations are thoughtfully situated around the stables and grounds; there is a lovely shared garden space with a fire pit, jacuzzi (too early in the season for our stay), picnic area. We stayed in the petit home of the two: the kitchen had all the necessities, it was spotless. My children loved their room. Pia shared how to play with their baby goats as well as how to interact with chickens with my children, which absolutely thrilled them. In the morning she had them bringing clippings to their pen and help her tend to the baby goats. She had excellent recommendations for activities in the area. In the evening, she guided the guests on an evening walk with the goats around the property and gave us all a tour of the stables to meet their horses. The buildings are designed to be sustainable, including a bio-roof on the stable itself, which is so amazing. Everyone we met who was either tending to their horse, or stopping by, was friendly -all of the animals are loved and happy. The area around the property is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. The wine road is easily accessible, if that is something you wish to do. The area has a great deal to offer families beyond vineyards. Grocery options are very close by and Colmar is just a few minutes drive to park and walk. My children and I absolutely loved our stay - my husband could not come with us due to work, so we've already booked another stay in the Fall so that he can accompany us.

Les Chambres - Au Grès du marché ligt in het oude centrum van Staedel, in het hart van de noordelijke Vogezen, op 100 meter van het Château de la Petite Pierre. Het biedt een restaurant en gratis... We had an awesome time in a beautiful spot with very warm and welcome hosts! The free breakfast was an amazing surprise reflecting the french awareness of fantastic food.

Le Grand Petit Prince - Domaine de Charme - Jacuzzis privatifs is gelegen in Guebwiller in de regio Elzas en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en toegang tot een hot tub. Very nice house with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. In the wood, but very close to civilization 😄.

Gite "Karcher" is gelegen op 5 minuten lopen van Sint-Maartenskerk en 700 meter van La Maison des Têtes in het centrum van Colmar. De accommodatie biedt een zithoek. De privacy, de zorgvuldig samengestelde uitrusting van de gîte en de locatie in het centrum van Colmar

Notre maison à Eguisheim beschikt over een terras en een 24-uursreceptie, en is goed gelegen in Eguisheim, op 6 km van station Colmar en 6,9 km van La Maison des Têtes. Vlot contact met de eigenaars, die alle info tijdig bezorgden. Het huisje is knus en gezellig. Wij voelden ons hier direct thuis. Sterker nog: we zouden er direct willen wonen :-). Er was genoeg keukengerief. Het terrasje is zalig om even rustig buiten te zitten en te ontbijten. Er zijn twee badkamers en WC’s. Het was er gezellig fris, zonder airco, al was het buiten meer dan dertig graden. De vissen zijn leuk om naar te kijken, al was het ons niet helemaal duidelijk of wij ze eten moesten geven (hebben dit toch gedaan). Het dorp is supermooi, niet voor niets ooit verkozen tot het mooiste dorp van Frankrijk. Ten slotte, de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is in orde. Kortom, een superverblijf.
