The room was clean and very comfortable. The dinner was outstanding. My friend and I had the sea bass and vegetables and it was the best fish I ever had. The breakfast was also wonderful with many options. My friend who has gluten allergies was able to eat there as well. The courtyard is relaxing and the cottage is close to the park and scenic walks.

The Guesthouse Sara is located in Grabovac, about 6 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It features a spacious terrace. We stayed here for 1 night to get an early start to visit Plitvice Lakes the following morning. It was perfect for us as a family of 4 with 2 teen boys. Very friendly greeting from the host followed by a much welcomed dip in their pool on site. We stayed in 2 chalets and each one had their own balcony which was nice to sit out and relax. The rooms were both very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is basic but very tasty and perfect for this kind of stopover. It was very wet in the morning and the hosts were very kindly checking their weather apps giving us reassurance that it was due to clear for our trip to the lakes. This is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting the lakes...it took us about 7 mins to drive and park at entrance 1 in the morning

There is also a communal porch with nice tables and drinks are available. The Plitvice lakes are within walking distance (20min from entrance 2). The owner is really nice and helpful. There is a garage for (motor)cycles.
