I booked for one night but ended up staying several nights. It is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Feels like sleeping in clouds haha.. The bathroom is also very clean and comes with the basic toiletries. The breakfast is delicious and the host is amazing!!! She's very friendly and I felt like home the moment I stepped in the hostel. The pool table is one of the best ones I've played on in vietnam. I 100% recommend this hostel!

When one of my travel companions unexpectedly started her period and realized she had forgotten to pack sanitary napkins, the homestay owner went above and beyond to help. Their kindness and quick action in providing the necessary supplies exemplified the exceptional hospitality we experienced throughout our time at Lan Ha Floating Homestay. Staying at Corner CatBa felt like visiting a generous relative. Pi’s warmth and care shine through in everything—her incredible cooking, her thoughtful recommendations, and the cozy atmosphere she’s created. She keeps only three rooms to ensure every guest gets the best experience, and it truly shows. Our room was perfect—cozy, spotless, with a comfortable bed and duvet, and a beautiful view of the lake. From the moment we arrived, Pi took care of everything we could possibly need, making us feel completely at home. Her husband is just as kind, and together they have the warmest smiles that make you feel like family. If I ever find myself in CatBa again, there’s no question—I’ll stay with Pi and her family. I can only recommend this place! ❤️❤️❤️

It was really convenient to Cat Ba National Park which was my primary reason for being in Cat Ba. The host was really communicative and helpful with picking me up from the bus station and booked a bus for me to return to Hanoi as well. The food prices were reasonable. There were friendly cats and dogs on the property as well as some cute kiddos. Also on the day of my solo hike, the owner texted me in the evening to make sure I had gotten out of the woods safely - very thoughtful!

I can't recommend this place enough. The rooms are pretty affordable for how spacious and clean they were. The owners are very sweet and genuine. He helped me a lot to organise my trip and was very attentive to my needs. Very good experience!
