The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

The owner is super friendly and guests were also welcoming. We had family dinner at the last day and it was great experience to try local food with other guest members. Cave group tour was also really interesting to try. Bus to the next destination was also arranged by the hotel so it was really convenient to customize our trip with the preference without any language barrier. Free bicycle was really helpful when dining out for or moving around. Thank you for your kindness! I would like to visit the place again.

Sometimes we would have some language barrier problems, but nothing google translate can’t fix ;) The Homestay is located in a quiet street but just around the corner you have a nice street with everything you need (restaurants, mini marts, pharmacy, ATM, nightclub, spa). The free bikes were amazing. Drop off/pick up location for the sleeper busses is around 10 minutes walk, but you can also ask Tam for pick up/drop off since there’s no grab available in this area. You can book various tours with Tam or he can arrange a taxi for you. The breakfast pancakes were amazing :)
