Staff was super friendly and nice. Price is cheap. I liked that there are curtains around the bed so there is a privacy. Also someone gave thought to the fact that people want to charge their phones, so there are sockets near every bed.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

One of the best hostels I have been to. Clean kitchen and rooms, always smiling and very helpful staff. Just in a walk distance from railway/bus station, near the hostel there is two shops where you can buy food and cook in the hostels kitchen. There is a cheap laundry room. If I come once to Sofia again, I will just stay there! Recommending this place absolutely!
This is a very old school hostel. As an old school backpacker I don’t mind the style but don’t expect any modern installations you would get in Western Europe and American hostels. If you’re okay with that, it’s a great place to meet new people and it has a great location to explore the city. I stayed in a bedroom in an apartment they have next door which was great for me since it was quieter and I could work from there without noise.
This propert has two things going for it. Firstly it is located right in the centre of Sofia very close to Serdika metro. Secondly it is very cheap (but be warned that you get what you pay for). It might suit backpackers on a very tight budget where cost is the main priority.
One of the best hostels I have stayed so far! It is well equipped, gives you a decent amount of privacy and super clean. The bed, the pillow and the duvet are comfortable, and the hostel in general is very quiet so you can really rest. While some people prefer "party hostels", I am an introvert and I really do appreciate hostels like this. So if you are like me, you will love Green Cube hostel. The vending machine at the reception is also a GREAT IDEA! It had a very good and cheap coffee.
I loved this hostel, very new as only opened recently, completely worth the price and the best hostel in the area. It offers low bed numbers in the rooms meaning less noise, curtains for privacy, kitchen and common areas and some very friendly staff happy to give the extra effort and care to the people staying at this hostel. If you would like to come to Sofia and stay on a budget this is the place to be!
Close proximity to the main road and metro station. The price of one night is cheap. You can walk from the city bus station within 20 mins and 10 mins to the nearby metro station. The hostel is safe because the entrance door is always locked for 24 hrs. You will have to ring the bell and wait for the staff to open the door for you.
