Great, social hostel. Plenty of common spaces to enjoy outside of your room. The kitchen is great with a huge island with 8 burners for cooking. You can cook on either side which was a plus. Well designed! Thank you.

Very quiet and tranquil. The rooftop is awesome. They kept the kitchen and common bathrooms very clean. They have an English copy of Lonely Planet Colombia, so helpful! Having a private hammock in the room is super nice.

Great location in the nice neighborhood of San Antonio. The host was very caring, giving us a lot of information, the bedroom was really nice with the air conditioning that was a real plus. We would definitely recommend !!

I very much enjoyed my stay at The View Hostel & Lounge. The staff was exceptional.  They accommodated my very late arrival, seeing me to my "private room booking" quickly for some much needed sleep.  The breakfast was authentic and tasty.  The facilities are clean and very well kept (daily). The private suite I booked was fully functional, including TV, great air conditioning, clean linens, hot water for the shower, a safe for my valuables and plenty of power outlets. The management and reception went out of their way to provide information about local festivities and sites to visit.  They even provided me access to group Salsa lessons that were very enjoyable, even with my 2 left feet 😁 The View is nestled in the hills with a wonderful overlook of the city from a rooftop balcony.  Though my stay was not long enough to take advantage of, they have a bar and patios offering many refreshments, spa & massage services onsite upon request, along with private Salsa lessons in a basement dance hall.  The pool is a refreshing break to the humidity of Cali, and is well attended to. This is my new go-to place when I am in Cali, and will suggest to any of my friends visiting. I tip my hat to Sandra, manager Jose, Johan & Daniel in reception, and all other staff.  Very warm & friendly. For sure, new amigos & amigas. Great new hostel in the heart of San Antonio. Really good value for money and rooms were very comfortable. Staff were also very friendly. Free coffee available all day. Highly recommend!

Elena is a wonderful host who treats her guests like family. She invited me to share a New Year's dinner with her family. Her place is safe, super clean and very comfortable. She is attentive and helpful. This hostel is a no-brainer for any foreigner visiting Cali. The location is wonderful, right beside an artist community and close to stores and restaurants.

Everything! I’ve been traveling South America for the last 5 months and this was definitely my favorite hostal. Adolfo and Ana (the owners) welcomed everyone like one of the family. I felt so much at home that I ended up staying a week instead of the 3 days initially planned. The breakfast was always nice. The location is perfect. The hostal has a huge terrace with a view over Cali. Great value for money. I could not recommend it more :)
