We had a great stay at Snooze Ijen. The hostel is a beautiful house with garden. Our private room was spacious and had a private bathroom as well. Late check in was also possible which was very convenient for us. They are amazingly well organized and provide tons of information about restaurants, day trips and transportation to Bali e.g. We booked an Ijen tour through them which was amazing. Would definitely come back!

They also made us delicious meals and facilitated a tour of the national park on a traditional fishing boat, which I recommend. The location is also close to G-land so you can get in and out for surfs without the cost of surf camps if you are on a budget.

Im sure everyone has been spoiled by unlimited kindness from Indonesians, but no matter what youve been encontered, this hostle is another level, in which case Im not gonna spoil your experience . Uve gonna come and find out. BTW, they have bus from Banyunwagi to Bali , which I recommend you do it. I found it in a hard way because I took a local bus....

Host was very good, he supplied a delicious Nasi Campur breakfast for us, told us his concerns of what he might provide us, as we were Western guests which was sweet.
