The family who own and manage the hotel are fabulous. Nancy speaks excellent English and responds immediately to questions and requests. Her father is especially helpful, even helping me to repair a flat tire on my bike. They also allowed us to store our bikes and bags while did the overnight hike to Musoorrie and back. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They are the very best of India. Highly recommend.

The owner, his wife and helper were very kind, genuine and welcoming. The breakfast and dinners were great. The owner gave lots of good recommendations of places to visit, fixed a tuk tuk for me for a day to visit various sights in Dehradun, and even ended up giving me a lift to Mussorie with his family. The facilities were very clean, and the upstairs terrace is a nice social area.

The location was terrific. There are very quaint and pretty terrace sit-outs on every floor (our room was on the 3rd floor). What made our stay outstanding was Sunil at the reception. From cold water on arrival to negotiating with auto-rickshaws to providing us with cellophane tape - Sunil took care of every minor detail. Always polite - always courteous - a thorough gentleman.
