New ZealandI had heard many good things about Haka House, but it exceeded my expectations. The room was really cozy, the staff were friendly, and best of all, it was close to the town center. I would love to stay again not only in Wanaka but in other places.

HungaryStaff were great, nice, and happy to help. Beds were super comfortable, rooms were warm and clean, which was nice in the cold weather. Shower was powerful and clean. Loved that you could access lounges and common spaces after check-out.

The first night came with a rough morning because of all the people going in and out of the door right by my head very early in the morning (fresh powder!) Not the hostels fault I know, but hard to sleep. But Jjen switched me to a room further down and it was loads better. The kitchen was very busy most of the time so I didn't cook there.
