YHA Pittwater Eco Sydney is only accessible via water taxi or ferry only, followed by an uphill walk. Awesome getaway with lots to do for free. Great wildlife…and awesome staff

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Port Macquarie’s bars and nightclubs, Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers offers free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a fully equipped communal kitchen. I stayed only one night, but the facilities were impeccable. There was a TV room, pool, swimming pool. Really nice place.

Located in Byron Bay town centre, YHA Byron Bay offers backpacker accommodation just 400 metres from Main Beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a tropical garden and games room. This hostel is the best I’ve stayed. Amazing place
