Boogalow Hostel is set on the beachfront in Gijón, 1.2 km from Playa de Poniente and 33 km from Plaza de la Constitución. The location was perfect for my 2 nights stay. Bed was super comfortable, and all the facilities were top-notch. Even though it were only 2 showers for dorms, it has never been a problem. And they provided free coffee, tea and cookies.

I stayed here for a few days to relax after walking the Camino de Santiago and it was one of the best decisions of the trip. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated and comfy, with lots of nice spaces to relax. It's a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and about 10 minutes walking from the beach (you can borrow a bike if you want). I didn't take any surf lessons, but was able to get a ride with the others to a beach nearby. There are also a few nice hikes available in the area, that take you from beach to beach. Finally, the food was great! Breakfast was better than any hostel I have stayed in, and I loved the homecooked dinners. Bea made me feel very welcome, and I will definitely come back to this place!

Located in the centre of Oviedo, HiHome Hostel is set less than 1 km from Plaza de la Constitución and a 1-minute walk from Oviedo Railway Station. It's a great location, and close to the train station. The place was really nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly. I had a problem when I left my backpack in the room after the time for check out, but the staff helped me right away.
