Located in central Madrid, in Lavapiés district. The Central House Madrid Lavapiés has a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and an open-air patio. The rooms were spacious, the beds provided great privacy and ample storage and convenient personal lights and power supply. My visit was during the pandemic, so it was pretty empty, but I imagine during regular times, it would be a very fun place to be.

Sungate Hostel is located in the very centre of Madrid, 210 metres from Puerta del Sol and 5 minutes' walk away from Callao metro station and Gran Vía Avenue. Free WiFi access is available. Great place, the receptionist were very sweet and welcomed me and told about their free dinner, walking tour etc. I was only there for 1 night and met with friends so didn’t have the chance to chill that much at the hostel and join their activities, but it all looked great and there was a nice atmosphere.

Onefam Madrid is set in the heart of Madrid, 700 metres from Calle Princesa. Around 1.3 km from Puerta del Sol, the property is also 1.3 km away from Plaza Mayor and offers free WiFi. Recommended for solo travelling. The hostel opened recently and everything feels new. There are parties organized every night to discover the best bars and clubs of Madrid and meet other people from the hostel.

Very chic little hostel in a great central location. Lovely decor, comfy bed and everything spotlessly clean. I particularly appreciated the provision of water, tea/coffee…and wine!
