Beacon House Bunks is located in Bridlington, within 32 km of Scarborough Castle and 32 km of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. What a fantastic set up. Everything you need . Showers and kitchen immaculate with tea coffee milk juice supplied. The beds are very comfy. The owners are so nice and welcoming(so are their dogs). Will 200% stay here again.

Boasting a shared lounge, Blue Room Hostel Newquay is set in the centre of Newquay, 500 metres from Tolcarne Beach. Breakfast facilities were excellent. The owner, Lee, was extremely helpful, pleasant and flexible. Would definitely recommend to others and would certainly stay at The Blue Room again! We were sorry to leave!

Located within 3.9 km of Lime Street Train Station and 4.1 km of Royal Court Theatre, The Liverpool Pod Travel Hostel offers rooms in Liverpool. The host, Tim. Made you feel very welcome. Was always greeted with a cup of coffee in the morning and a good chat. Always happy to problem solve and was receptive to any queries. Facilities were as expected and true to the photos.

In the Lake District village of Elterwater, the independent Elterwater Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, with a communal lounge and dining area. Beautiful quiet location, staff really personable and helpful which was a benefit of a small hostel. Bedroom basic and small but perfectly adequate. Breakfast great !

Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Penrith, Wayfarers Independent Hostel provides comfortable accommodation to Lake District visitors. Comfy bed, quiet, spotlessly clean and brilliant power shower.

Surrounded by lovely greenery in the heart of vibrant Keswick centre, YHA Keswick is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Derwentwater. It features a restaurant and self-catering kitchen. Location was amazing. Rushing water right at the front door. Could sit and watch it all day. Lots of nice places to sit watching the water rush past while you enjoyed a coffee or wine. Rooms comfortable and shared bathrooms were new, close by and kept very clean. Kitchen was large and easy to navigate with other people staying there.

The Onefam Waterloo has a lively atmosphere as a social party hostel designed for young backpackers and solo travellers. It’s a great hostel with a cool common area that everybody gets easily connected with each other. Staff was amazing. If Jo is there, she’ll help you in any case :) The nights they organize are really nice join them to have fun!

Set in Sennen, 1.7 km from Nanjizal Beach, Lands End Hostel and B&B offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Lovely room, clean with everything you could need. Staff friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well equipped. Good Wi-Fi and a lovely breakfast if you pay for it which I highly recommend if you are travelling light as I was as there is no local shop to walk too.
