Quiet even in the dorms. Great to be able to leave your bags and head off for the day. Uno, the islands and area were the highlight of our trip.

Located in Kurashiki and with Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park reachable within 16 km, DENIM HOSTEL float provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. It feels like a secret holiday house. The bath was very relaxing and you can use it privately too. The staff are very friendly, they helped providing me with alternative methods to reach the property as the direct buses stop after 7pm or so. It’s very clean and the restaurant felt very private and delicious. You can grind coffee beans in your room and read books and magazines it was a beautiful experience and design.

I think it must be a very nice place in summer, but I was there on a snowing day and it was very cold inside the building. Going out for the toilet or to the shower room was a bit painful for me! But the bedroom was warm and the futon very comfortable. The owner was nice and helpful.
