There’s a restaurant besides - at the waterfall entrance, and a café. The owner speaks English, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, German. Is one of the humble business people rare to find.

I had a wonderful stay in this hostel well located between Chaweng beach and the main walking street of the entire island. But mostly what makes the difference here is the genuinely and the love of the owner, an amazing woman who puts effort and care for the guests that will let you feel like home. Chill Inn Lamai Hostel & Beach Cafe features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Koh Samui. What a gem. I haven’t done hostels in many years and at first I was overwhelmed by the dorm, but immediately you realise that this is not just every hostel. As the name suggests it is a place to chill. The common spaces, the private beach, the sub and kayak, the food, the staff and the people all made it amazing experience. Also great value for money.
