Aforetime House @ Samui has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Taling Ngam Beach. The location is very remote, without a ton of tourists and right in front of the hotel is a small beach with the most beautiful sunset view. Also everybody that works here is really kind and you feel right at home. Oh and if you don’t know how to get here from the pier, you can just call and the owner will pick you up for a reasonable price (much cheaper than the taxis and even cheaper than grab for us)

The garden is beautiful! Very peaceful, an escape from the city. The beds are comfortable and the bicycles are so nice to take to tour around the city! The staff is amazing! I needed to go to the hospital and they were willing to come with me and help me with everything I needed.

The owner is absolutely lovely, she makes sure you have a great time there and introduces everybody. It really felt like family staying there! Would definitely come back :)

Best hostel I stayed in during my trip. The pool and private beach is just amazing and the staff are brilliant. Comfy beds.

I made last minute reservations through Booking.com for the same night and got a private room instead of the backpackers dorm. Great place, friendly staff and very close to the beach. Make sure to check out the Cocktail King across the street!

Perfect place to chill away from loud streets. Building is 2min walk from the beach. You can sit in the restaurant and work/relax even when you're not buying anything. Rooms are nice, there are lockers. We had a balcony. If possible, get a scooter to commut around.

This was an awesome place to stay with awesome people Jim’s the man he helps you out with all you need around the island. the location is perfect right on the beach. clean and tidy with great facilities!!!
