Blue Moon Guest House offers dorm-style accommodations, 1 mile from the University of Louisiana Conference Centre. It also features an on-site saloon with live music adjacent to this hostel. The location and facilities are amazing. It's a little pricey but that can be mitigated with using their awesome kitchen to prepare your own meals. We were happy to have the opportunity to meet other travelers and chat with the bartender when we stopped by the bar next door. It was all a treat after a tiring semester.

The staff made sure all of our needs/questions were met and taken care of. Definitely going to return here when I visit New Orleans again.
