Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. They were always there for whatever we needed. They even offered a free familly dinner for all the guests. Scooters are available for rent. Quiet place to rest, but you can always meet other travellers. We ended up extending our stay to 3 nights.

The owner was truly kind, warm-hearted and willing to answer all of my concerns. This place was also near the Tung Thu Beach and town centre, really convenient to moving for multiple purposes. Domik also has a restaurant located in the town centre, you must try it out, too.

Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city. Big and clean room in a pretty new hostel. Small but nice pool area, restaurant offers some simple dishes as well. The location is great as there are many of the best beaches and great restaurants around, only downside was a lot of construction around but that is not the hostel's fault. Beer happy hour from 7-7:30pm was a nice bonus and we also used the opportunity to rent a motorbike for only 100k VND for a whole day which only took minutes. We also got fresh towels and a 0.5L water bottle per day which was nice. The staff made our stay feel truly special and I would like to name Shelly, Toby and Hana personally as they were extremely helpful and funny at the same time. A great team!

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. I liked the atmosphere of Cat ba hostel. It was in the centre and close to everything. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant on the bottom floor was very good quality and I loved the free breakfast. It was very taste. The highlight for me was the attitude of the staff and employees, so friendly and caring. Very easy to sort any trips etc. I would also like to note an act of kindness by one of the staff members called Vu. I mistakenly left my clean laundry at the hostel and only realised when I was back in Hanoi. Vu had the laundry dropped down to a bus station where I collected it in Hanoi. A powerful act of kindness. Thanks Vu. Would 100% recommended This hostel.
