Location was great. There is a breakfast room or delivered to your room. We chose the in room option. Food was delicious, hot and reasonably priced.

Room was good. Not sure if it was that cheap but I didn't really shop around.

This is the perfect place for sightseeing! It's filled with rich history and interesting places to visit, such as the cathedral, parks, tram tour, Alexandra Fountain, and gold mine tour. It's a beautiful little town that's perfect for exploring and offers a truly peaceful and relaxing experience.

We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing.
We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing. The restaurant also had a French menu which was very good. Lovely staff.
The Chinese Dragon gardens & surrounding gardens were beautiful with all the fall leaves coming.
We were there Monday & Tuesday so some of the restaurants we were thinking of going to were closed those days.
The church was also closed those days.
Bendigo is a very relaxed & beautiful historic town.
We probably should have stayed another day to even see more of the nearby areas.
We had breakfast at an amazing organic restaurant that also sells fruit & vegetables. You will find it in Lyttleton Terrace. Lovely young friendly staff & tasty healthy food.

Bendigo has a great art gallery and some fantastic heritage buildings and museums. There are also good food options such as The Dispensary (highly recommend). It is a good base camp for discovering the area to visit other heritage towns.

Plenty of local attractions to see, with lots of period architecture.
Foodies are very well catered for with abundant little restaurants all through the city centre and some amazing menu items.
Two recommendations are the Golden Square Hotel (I ordered Thia Red Duck Curry, which was very nice. But when I saw the Chef's special for the night coming out - Porterhouse Steak and Pot/Glass of wine $28 - I wished I had ordered that instead.
The other one is Sim'r in Hargreaves St, which has some amazing things on the menu and make in-house a range of amazing breads

Borchelli Italian restaurant is great, with excellent meals and desserts. Bendigo Art Gallery is worth a visit, with the current Paris: Impressions of Life exhibition. The Hat Shop is also fun, with a huge selection of hats. The Australian Eucalyptus Oil Company has a good selection of products for gifts, plus plenty of shops to suit all tastes.
Hostess was professional but very friendly, super quick to reply and help before we arrived. On arrival, all was as stated on booking.com and by the hostess. All bedrooms had power sockets in easily usable spaces. Toilet was separate to bathroom which was great with adult family. Lounge is large. Everything is set up for 8 people as described. Host has S&P, some olive oil, tea/coffee, sugar, milk and some fruit already for use. Very helpful. Will stay again on our trips to Bendigo in future instead of in motels.
Came for the Elvis exhibition (must see by the way) and had booked a king room at the Oval Motel not expecting to be staying in THE King Room.
The level of commitment to theming the room was next level and an unexpected but lovely surprise.
Staff were wonderful, you can SMS for beers which is genius and it was literally 5 minutes to the exhibition and then a short walk further into town to explore all the amazing food and sights that Bendigo has to offer.
The staff at Hotel Ernest are exceptionally pleasant and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated and kept, and the location was fantastic. Located right next to the Bendigo Art Gallery, Pall Mall and Rosalind park, it was easy to walk anywhere you wanted to see, and there are a multitude of cafes, shops, etc right out the door.
Every part of the stay was lovely, and my partner and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
The Hotel Shamrock is brilliantly located right in the heart of the lovely town of Bendigo. It’s a beautiful old dame of a hotel. It’s seen better years. The room carpet in particular tells many stories of wine spills and goodness knows what else. However the bathroom, towels and bed linen are sparkingly clean. Hopefully a return to a healthy tourism industry will help the Shamrock update this gorgeous building.
Excellent location for us. Quiet area and a short walk to gardens, galleries and all that Bendigo has to offer. We put the car in the garage and walked everywhere. The property is well appointed and had everything we needed. The en-suite was spacious and the walk in robes great to keep cases etc out of the bedroom. Great place to relax after being out all day.
This Quest Accommodation is pretty close to everything. We walked to middle of town, hopped on the Tourist Tram that took us around Bendigo from The “Joss House” to “Deborah Gold Mine”. A fascinating place to visit with an informative Commentary on the City.
The Lakeside Hotel on McCrae st was just up the road so an excellent place for our Dinner
The Motel was conveniently across the road from a hotel for our meals. They also deliver if you can't be bothered going out.
Nice and quiet room - faced the main road but was very quiet especially at night.
Staff very friendly, room was very clean. I would highly recommend this Motel for your stay in Bendigo.
Staff were very attentive and helpful. The price is really good value. Easy access and easy to find. The wi-fi worked really well and was a decent bandwidth, often I find I end up hotspotting my phone as the 'free wifi' at motels is so slow. Bathroom and room was very clean.
Beautifully renovated cottage so much more inviting and cosy than hotel rooms generally on offer. Large walk in showers, comfy beds and heating. Fully equipped kitchen & laundry etc - perfect for a longer stay. Well located with cafe across the road and pub around the corner.
Clean, quite comfortable basic room in a brilliant location right in the Bendigo CBD. Bonus was free weekend car parking next door at the multi-level carpark (that may have been limited to that specific weekend though, given there were a lot of special events on at the time)
Good location. Whilst out of the centre Bendigo, it was very easy walking. And Bendigo is a very nice place to walk around. Also room is quite big. Not being part of a motel or hotel means it is very private, secluded and quiet.
Best hotel in Bendigo! We always stay here whenever we are in town as the owners are lovely, the rooms have everything you need, we can walk everywhere in Bendigo and the rooms are great value for money! Highly recommend!
This place exceeded all expectations. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels/motels across Bendigo and this has been my favourite so far. The room I stayed in was really clean, the bed was comfy and I loved the outdoor area.
Great location opposite Lake Weeroona and walking distance to the cbd and great pubs close by for meals and a drink at the Lakeview Hotel and the Tyson Reef Hotel.
Room was good. Not sure if it was that cheap but I didn't really shop around.
Restaurant looked nice but we didn't eat there. Seemed a bit pricey for us.
We were unfortunately in Bendigo for my precious Sons funeral staying with you gave my family a chance to all be together in our time of immense grief.
