A worn and sadly lacking site.

A worn and sadly lacking site. It has all the hallmarks of investors who rake in the money but don't spend any money or maintenance and improvements. They could raise their star rating if they cared to invest in renovation., The lady at the front desk was very friendly;y. What a shame she has to represent such a sad venue.

The environment in general is the thing I liked the most.

The environment in general is the thing I liked the most. There is little opportunity to interact with people outside of those in our circle of the delegation, including the hosts and those slotted in the program, during that trip. I would like to see more people to people interaction.

    Excellent location.

Excellent location. You may not need a rented car if you stay in the central location. We stayed here for 5 days. Went to Great Barrier Reef, Green Island, Used the sky rail to go to Kurandra and came back by Scenic Rail. Snorkling at both Green Island and Great Barrier Reef was too good.

    Brilliant clean pool in apartment.

Brilliant clean pool in apartment. We did Kuranda tour the train to the top of mountain and the cable car over the rainforest/ Green Island tour, where we enjoyed the glass bottom boat, snorkelling, and seeing the large crocodile that was recovering from an injury on the island. We also did Daintree crocodile river tour and we saw 3 crocodiles, went swiming in Rossman Gorge. The tours were fantastic and so was Cairns, we had the holiday of a life time. Thankyou to everyone for the wonderful tours.

I wasn't too keen, it was a humid sweatbox and I didn't feel particularly safe at night walking the streets. Plenty to do activity wise during the day. The Croc Bar was the best bit. $10 steak & fires. Night market is just tat and the food places within the night market aren't great. Decent-ish night-life and the drinks are cheaper than the big city's.

Super clean room, and the friendly, attentive staff impressed me right off the bat. The hotel was located within walking distance of all the Cairns attractions that I visited. The kitchen had everything I needed during my stay. The beautiful pool was clean and serene, and it never had more than a couple people in it at a time. I extended my stay here twice! Also, the manager accomodated a late checkout without hesitation. Would stay here again if I return to Cairns.

The included breakfast was ample. Toast, pancakes and cereals. There was also an option to pay extra for a cooked breakfast, which we didn't require. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had the additional convenience of a microwave. The balcony was also an unexpected bonus and much appreciated. The location to the city center and bus/train terminals/stops couldn't have been better-only a 15 minute leisurely stroll to Cairns Central.

Loved the location as it was close to the walking trail along the shoreline, and not right in the middle of Cairns (but within walking distance). The apartment itself was clean and had a lovely balcony looking out to the sea. It was only 3 levels high and relatively small compared to a lot of other apartments and hotels there, so easy to access our apartment! A nice swimming pool. Great staff. We would stay there again for sure!

The hotel is terrific. The room was lovely. The layout was chic and modern, and cool. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities were great and the staff were very friendly and professional. The little balcony gave good views of the sea, the esplanade and Cairns, and those views were superb from the 9th floor! It's a uniquely furnished/finished hotel that pleases the eye. The location to central Cairns is great! Very easy to get around. We had a double pram so that comes with all its own issues. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport and was really cheap in a taxi ($25 AUD). Muddy's playground and cafe is a short 3 minute walk and is fantastic for little kids. Goose Cafe up the road in the opposite direction is the best coffee and breakfast in Cairns. we loved it!

Spacious room with balcony, sea view and hot buffet breakfast that's on the esplanade, has free parking and is a pleasant walk from all you need in Cairns. It's great. Only down side is that it's an old, large hotel that you could say needs modernisation but that was reflected in the price. We would use it again.
