La Vista is not just two stylish post and beam houses built by hand, from sustainable timbers, not merely a wonderful place sitting high on the hill with Mountain and Ocean views – it’s an experience, a real taste of life in a tropical national park that many of our overseas friends tell us they’ve always been searching for, but never previously found. “A little piece of rainforest heaven, with simply stunning views, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Daintree National Park, a true treasure.” La Vista originally attracted us because of its absolutely amazing views right out across the breathtaking rainforest valley to Thorntons Peak (Queensland's 3rd highest mountain at 1320m) and beyond to the Coral Sea. Our superb decks, by the pool, and terrace, provide charming vantage points from where you can relax, enjoy food, drinks and the stunning Vista. We offer a place to relax and take a break, away from the crowds – but we’re not totally cut off, we do have free Wi-fi, with Netflix, Prime, Disney and Foxtel Movies on either of two 55 inch smart TV's.
