Great to stay with your own car and to explore.
Great to stay with your own car and to explore. We loved our own fishing spots and freshwater swimming holes. The Daintree ice cream factory is great. You must walk around and see their fruit trees. The ‘Crocodile Express’ company, specifically is fantastic- 2 trips to upper and lower rivers on the Daintree (near the river crossing) is amazing. $39 for two different trips. Over 2 1/2 hrs- it’s value that other companies don’t offer.

No kitchen so we weren’t able to cook (that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. =)). There were tea and coffee making facilities and we were allowed to have cup noodles on the balcony.

Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.
