A nature lovers paradise. Our 5 hectares are dedicated to nature, flora, fauna, fungi and the forest floor. We are a registered nature reserve. We are a green space for those who want to relax in a pesticide and herbicide free environment. Maybe practise their yoga, art, book writing, photography or gaze at the starlit skies with a glass of wine. We have just one room here, so it is the perfect place for solitude and to reconnect with nature, the room has a king size bed and an optional single @15 euros per stay, with en-suite shower/toilet wet room and a kitchenette. In an adjoining room there is a snooker table, table tennis, yoga mats, badminton and art items. (please see all images). The room has outside seating with a barbecue and views to a mature garden, the countryside and your own private parking. We now have a Bain Nordique / Hot Tub, this is situated with a view to the pond and the countryside, bird song in the morning is delighful or observing the stars at night is magical. Guests can sit peacefully with the surrounding nature beside the pond with rustic barbecue (limited summer use), maybe lay in the hammocks under the tree canopy listening to the birdsong. HONESTY INFORMATION: The closest amenities are in Le Dorat, (6.5km) 6 minutes, a car is necessary. Total steps 2 in property. Wind turbines in the distance through trees. Alongside a D route. You may have to relax with nature!

Relax and unwind with us where nature and large oaks are your companion. I spend much time researching nature and its needs and this is my true passion that I practice here. The importance of the smallest species to our survival is my passion along with our health, both are connected. I grow organic herbs and greens that can be used in smoothies which you can make yourself during your stay. I also love photography, painting, sketching and propagating. La Tuilerie gives me a wonderful opportunity to capture images and care for nature. I am happy to share cuttings or seeds from our garden, just mention this during your stay. I love to share the beauty we have here with guests who are on the same page and to make their stay just perfect. We have completely free range hens that might lay a present for you. Husband Steve is a fan of making various things if possible from scratch, he often tinkers in his barn, most of what you see is his own work. We both love to go on off-road trips in our Isuzu Trooper and wilderness camping, traveling to many beautiful places in France.

We are surrounded by fields with a few small woodlands. Our small commune is La Bazeuge with just a church. We are 6.4km (6 minutes by car, so not near the town) away from our main town of Le Dorat with part of the walled town remaining, where you will find bars, cafes, restaurants, post office, craft shop, charity shop, tea rooms, butchers, cinema, brocantes, supermarket, bank, 1000+ year church and outside tennis courts.
