This striking barn conversion was featured in The Times ‘Best Holiday Houses for Groups in Britain’ feature in 2018. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, the property can accommodate up to eleven guests - a wonderful option for family and friends looking to spend quality time together. The barn is just a three-minute walk from the delightful village of Chelsworth, yet has a remote feel with its countryside setting.

Neighbourhood information

The beautiful village of Chelsworth is famous for its outstanding gardens and ancient houses, many built before the 17th century. Home to around only 70 properties, the village dates back to 962 AD and has remained almost unchanged for the last 200 years. The village pub, ‘The Peacock’, is well known and delightful to spend an evening in. Chelsworth is located midway between the mediaeval towns of Lavenham and Melford, both offering a wonderful day out with plenty of shops, cafes and art galleries to peruse.
