Solid Luxury is a family business offering luxury self catering lodges and cottages across Scotland. We began our journey in 2007 when we made the decision to build 4 lodges on our working farm in Fife – Balmeadowside. Very quickly we realised that what we had was really special and our guests truly appreciated the environment they found themselves in. We love being able to share with our guests, the beautiful countryside, amazing views and peace and quiet that we are fortunate enough to enjoy everyday. We now have 102 properties in 8 locations throughout Scotland offering accommodation from 2 to 16 in lodges, cottages, farmhouses and estate homes, all based on our own working estates and farms except Conifers which is a stand alone lodge park beside the Galloway Forrest in Dumfries and Galloway and Kiltarlity Lodges in Inverness-shire near Loch Ness. Our aim is to create a home away from home with gorgeous views, dark skies and peaceful surroundings.

Heather Lodge 17 is nestled at the bottom of Kiltarlity Lodges with an enclosed decking area, perfect for your four-legged friends while you enjoy a dip in your hot tub! Inside offers accommodation in a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms complete with a family bathroom with shower over bath. Spend your days exploring the Scottish Highlands and then retreat back to spend your evenings relaxing in the comfortable, large open plan living, dining, kitchen area or in your private hot tub. Heather Lodge 17 is only Dog Friendly, we do not accept other pets in this lodge. Booking dot com do not have an option to only select dog friendly so we are unable to specify in any filters. Heather Lodge 17 accepts 3 dogs at an additional cost direct to Solid Luxury payable 1 month prior to arrival.

On a tranquil hillside, just 15 minutes from Loch Ness, Kiltarlity Lodges is the perfect base for exploring the entire Highlands. The Isle of Skye, Cairngorm Mountain, Ben Nevis, Eilean Donan Castle and even John o’ Groats can all be reached on day trips.
