Close to Holmfirth home of Last of the Summer Wine, on the edge of the Peak District & Yorkshire Dales 1b Firth Street is a modern town house in Shepley built within the last 3 years comprising of 4 bedrooms, bathroom & En suite. Stylishly decorated with all brand new furnishings & appliances to a modern & airy finish, keeping comfort the highest priority. Also offering a large private garden. A great place to explore Yorkshire.
Just a 35 minute drive to Shibden Hall Museum the setting for the BBC series Gentleman Jack. Shepley village is located south of Huddersfield on the edge of the Peak District & Yorkshire Dales offering lots of great walks, bike routes and other activities. The local pub & village shop are just a short walk away and there are various pub/restaurants nearby. Other places of interest are The Yorkshire Mining Museum, Cannon Hall Farm & Country Park, Kirklees Light Railway & Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Running through Shepley is the Trans Pennine train, Penistone line & the train station is just a short walk away opening the access to Pennine villages like Honley & Penistone. Running from Sheffield to Huddersfield this is the gateway to great Yorkshire Cities.
I am new to the holiday rental market but I hope the properties I am offering are of great use to everyone. I have also looked to adding a bike store to the garden and would like to know if this is of interest to anyone.
Shepley is a great village in the HD8 area of Huddersfield & 1b is a great place to stay for visiting family in the surrounding villages like Denby Dale, Skelmanthorpe, Scissett, Kirkburton & even Barnsley. A football field & park just 100 yards away leading through to the war memorial & woods, a short walk to the trans pennine trail which is great for family walks & bike rides. 200 yards up the main road is Cliffe House with an adventure playground open to the public during school holidays.
