On the site of The Old School House & The Royal British Legion, Poppy Cottage is a newly refurbished & extended, luxury, true cottage at the heart of this wonderful, rural Village, a perfect base for exploring the area. Cosy but spacious, guests will find an open plan kitchen, living & dining area, with large sliding doors to access a private enclosed garden. All rooms are accessible over one floor, and with level access through the front door, the cottage is suitable for individuals with accessibility needs. The snug lounge has a log burner with firewood provided by the host. The master bedroom has a king-size double bed, and the second bedroom accommodates two single beds. The cottage is located in the centre of the village close to the local Spar convenience store and the Red Lion Pub & Restaurant and just 0.6miles a 13-minute walk to Stocks Hall Health Club & Spa where 2 adult guests can be provided with private access to all private members facilities within the "Spa", rate selected upon booking.

To the south, the village of Parbold can be accessed via the picturesque Harrock and Hunters Hills.
