The drive between the two will offer beautiful views along with boutiques to shop and places to eat. Ely, with its magnificent cathedral and stained glass museum is a must, and for history buffs, the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle makes for a great day out. Sandringham Estate is close by and the area offers many National Trust properties including Peckover House and Garden, and Holkham Hall. Welney Wetland Centre is the perfect place for birdwatchers, and there are many pretty routes for walkers and cyclists direct from the door.
