    Studio 22 is a cosy one bed apartment right in the heart of Rye. Bus to the beach across the road and right off the high street. It was very well equipped, although it would be nice to have a little fan at hand for the roasting summer days....

    Loved the location of the property, just outside the Landgate and close to all amenities, it was also very quiet at night. The lounge/kitchen/diner was good, maybe just need another comfy chair, but otherwise it was really nice.

We love where we live and we can be found, cycling, running or walking along the lovely beaches that dot our coast, enjoying the quiet lanes on our bicycles or running on the trails. We love supporting local events and can share our local secrets if looking for something different, to enjoying local one day courses with local artists, birdwatching trips at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, or wine tasting at one of the many vineyards that are located in the 1066 area. Our aim is to offer a truly personal service to make your stay at one of our holiday cottages as relaxing as we possibly can. Any queries or issues you may have during your stay, we are here to help. Special occasion, need help planning your surprise, we know the best florists, bakers and restaurants to book, just ask. Property information

A modern one bedroom apartment in the heart of medieval Rye - the perfect couple's retreat. Studio 22 is hidden away along one of Rye's many cobbled pathways, close to the historic Landgate and within minutes of the High Street. A bright open plan modern living area and stairs down (Jack n Jill stairs, one foot at a time) to the double bedroom and ensuite shower along with fluffy dressing gowns make this property a cosy, romantic retreat. There are stairs up to the front door where you will find your decked area and once inside the apartment the stairs down to the bedroom and shower room are narrow & steep but there is a handrail. The downstairs bedroom does not have a window but there is a small one in the adjoining ensuite. The property is not suitable for anyone who STRUGGLES WITH STAIRS or has MOBILITY ISSUES. Please note that children and infants are not permitted at this property.

Neighbourhood information

Rye enjoys a fabulous range of Independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants and Studio 22 is in the perfect situation to enjoy them all. The ancient town of Rye has a colourful history and when you walk the paths and streets you still get a sense of that today. There is always something going on, whether it is enjoying the benefits of the sea and the fact that it is still a fishing port, with the Scallop festival in February, or its vibrant artistic quarter with the Jazz festival in August and the Arts and music festival in September. There is always a good reason to visit. Rye Museum can be found in East Street and St Mary's Church, with its famous Quarter Boys is only a five minute stroll from the apartment. Interested in birdwatching, then Rye Nature Reserve is about 10 minutes by car and there you can wonder the paths and enjoy the views.The stunning beach of Camber Sands is only 3 miles away and if visiting without a car, there is the Sustrans path that you can walk or cycle about an hours walk from Rye. If wanting to venture further the seaside town of Hastings is accessible by bus, train or car and is a great day out if looking for something different
