The 55 square meter apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people and is perfect for a weekend or longer stays. It is ideal for cyclists who can put their bicycles inside the building in a closed and safe space. The sports facilities of Campagnuzza (soccer field, swimming pool, athletics field, tennis courts, multi-purpose gym) are just a stone's throw away and often international meetings and competitions are held there. The Exhibition Center is also very close.

Through our structure we would like to attract visitors and tourists curious to learn about the varied beauty of our territory, the troubled history of our border, our food and wine. Sonia and I are great bicycle and mountain bike enthusiasts. We also have a web site (isontinoinbici it) that offers a nice range of itineraries in our area to be covered by MTB. For those who want to visit Gorizia we will shortly provide a leaflet with three itineraries of different lengths, to be covered on foot (the shortest) or by bicycle (the two longest), accompanied by photos and descriptions of the major points of interest (which are a lot...). In the future we would also like to make some bicycles available for free.

The apartment is located in the very quiet former Villaggio degli Esuli in the Campagnuzza neighborhood. The village consists of 25 identical square-family buildings with gardens and private entrances. It was built to welcome the exiles who, after February 10th 1947, fled from Istria, which was definitively assigned to Yugoslavia by the Treaty of Paris. Within a radius of 1 km there are grocery stores and supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bakery, bars, trattorias, restaurants, a pizzeria, a kiosk, a trade fair, a hospital, a railway station and a traffic police. If you wish to visit Gorizia (called "the Austrian Nice" at the end of the nineteenth century) you cannot miss the village and the medieval castle, the museum of the Great War, the Synagogue, the Provincial Museums in the beautiful Palazzo Attems Petzenstein, the Church of S. Ignazio in Piazza della Vittoria, the Duomo of Sant'Ilario and Taziano, the Villa Coronini Cronberg, the Monastery of Castagnevizza, the square and the Transalpina station and the border with Slovenia.
