Welcome to the Meije, one of the most beautiful places and walking, cycling and motorcycle routes in the NL. Located in the Green Heart, 30 car minutes from Amsterdam. Our comfortable rural guest suite with two floors in the outbuilding in the garden with a panoramic view of the Meijepolders. The suite offers a living room with comfortable couch, TV, coffee maker, kettle, oven and mini fridge, a private bathroom on the ground floor with shower, toilet and sink and a private terrace adjacent to the garden. In the bedroom on the first floor you can sleep in an extra long comfortable bed of 1.80m x 2.20m. We offer tasty ingredients with which you can make your first breakfast at a time that suits you best. For additions you can use our bicycles to (farm) shops nearby. Apart from toaster, egg cooker, kettle and oven, there is no cooking facility. We are a working couple, love meeting new people and are happy to share all the information we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Upon arrival you open the guest suite with the key from the key safe, we will let you know the code in advance, and if we are there you can always knock on the door.

Hi, We live in the Green Heart of the Netherlands. We travel a lot ourselves and therefore enjoy meeting other travelers. Our most beautiful destination was the salt flat at Uyuni in Bolivia, our favorite cities are Amsterdam and Rome and the most beautiful meeting with animals was a baby gorilla in Uganda. On our wish list is a self-drive in Mongolia. We enjoy receiving people from all over the world and sharing our piece of paradise.

Within one kilometer, a restaurant and the Meije walking path is located next to the Nieuwkoop lakes. Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, The Hague, Utrecht and Rotterdam are a 30-minute drive away. Amsterdam RAI, Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Gouda and Keukenhof are easily accessible by car. A public bus from either Woerden or Bodegraven train station stops during in The Meije four times a day on weekdays at 1 km walking distance (or kindly ask the driver to stop at our house ;-)). We have fast WiFi and 2 city bicycles available (1 men, 1 lady city bike). We have a covered bicycle and motor parking.
