Offering a lush garden with solar-heated pool, Whale Rock Luxury Lodge boasts elegant rooms and suites. The guest house is 200 metres away from the harbour. Whale Rock Luxury Lodge offers 17 en-suite bedrooms, elegantly decorated in a contemporary style. Eleven of these rooms are in the Main Lodge. Each room is equipped with flat screen televisions, bathroom amenities, hairdryers, heaters and mini bar fridges. The rooms each have their own patio leading out onto the expansive and beautifully maintained gardens boasting a pool and various water features. The recently added Villa consists of 6 rooms with another pool, braai and breakfast room area. All this ensures a tranquil and relaxing holiday whilst enjoying the champagne air that Hermanus is so well known for .
Hermanus is a great place to stay and use as a base whilst exploring the Overberg area. Everything is within close proximity and one can get the feel of the Cape without having to go too far. The Lodge is situated close to the New Harbour, where the launching of the the whale boats takes place during whale season (June - Nov). There is also two seafood restaurants situated in the New Harbour making it very convenient for our guests who do not feel like driving into town for lunch or dinner. There is patrols monitoring the cliff paths for added security. The property itself has secure, walled parking. Hermanus offers something for everyone, from hiking up the Fernkloof Nature Reserve to watching the sunrise while jogging along the cliff paths or enjoying the 27 hole golf course, experiencing the thrill of seeing the Great White Sharks, or simply watching the Southern Right whale that graces our shores.
