Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Generous breakfast however a machine to make hot coffee would be appreciated rather than cold coffee and cold milk in carafes for a cafe con lèche. It appears standard for pensions and hotels to have the auto machines minimally.
Beautiful & quaint Spanish country property, peaceful & restful away from the crowds of the busier Camino path from Sarria. Worth walking on the extra kms to stay here. Makes for a shorter walk the next day… picking up the path at Casanova. Grateful to Montse for the ride back to the path the next morning.
Left feeling restored and well cared for by Hosts Montse & Miguel. Montse is an amazing chef and cooked us an incredible dinner … the best meal on our whole Camino journey( from SJPP).
The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Casa blanco is a beautiful building with a relaxing garden. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinner was locally sourced and delicious. We would definitely stay there again.
Very nice place, Monsi was very accommodating. Dinner was superb especially the desert. Simon, the son, was very helpful and they picked us up from the center. Far away from noise.
The bed has disclosure sheet though a bit transparent. They have heater so very warm inside. And they offer hair dryer if you ask! Also the dinner was nice for pilgrimmers to enjoy and have great conversation.
They have their own restaurant. No need to walk further for dinner. A variety of choices to pick if ala carte. Menu del dia also has a lot of choices to select at a reasonable price. Lift is available. Room is neat & clean, so is the bathroom. Hairdryer, shampoo, bath gel & soap is provided. Walking distances to restaurants, bars & Mercatos & shops. Awfully convenient. Good location for Camino route. You just walk out from this Pension & you are on your Camino route to Ribadiso.
