The Yard at Bath is beautifully done, and is extremely good value (we stayed on a Sunday night) and the staff were all lovely. The place has been designed to such a high finish and while the service was brilliant, none of the staff are in any way pretentious - it was all just very relaxed and delightful.

Beautiful room, peaceful surroundings, excellent meal! We arrived very early but our host made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We also appreciated our host’s wonderful suggestions for hikes. We left our stay with smiles on our faces.

The room and bathroom were warm and modern. The breakfast was very delicious. Best English breakfast we had so far. The hotel is situated in a charming old building.

I have never spent Christmas in a hotel so this was a new experience for me. But I loved every single minute there. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and accomadating 👏 We had a few meals there with family joining us and the food was fantastic 😋 Due to covid it was probably quieter than normal? The hotel has a very warm and cosy feel perfect for a Christmas away from home. Loved the decor too! We also had a nice balcony which I'm sure will be lovely in nicer weather. Guys well done 👏 loved it and we will be back.

There are wonderful people running The Castle Inn. They are so friendly, happy, and always smiling. We enjoyed dinner and a pint before heading up to our room. The room and bathroom are spacious, a good shower with plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable, and the noise level was very low. We could hardly hear any noise from the street or the bar downstairs, which was full and open until 11 pm. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I couldn't finish everything on my plate. I especially enjoyed the coffee and our server, who didn't mind at all making a cappuccino on request. We had a great stay here.

Perfectly located by the canal. Super-relaxed breakfast in the sun, swans swimming by. Cool industrial vibe, beautifully renovated place.
