The entire experience was exceptional and beyond expectations. The inn was lovely, very comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast was delicious. The hospitality of the innkeepers was truly remarkable with many little added extras to meet any wish or needs of their guests. I cannot think of any way they could have improved on the experience

I absolutely loved this historic inn - from the fantastic staff to the property itself. It had so much character but didn’t smell old. It was spotless- even the shared bathroom upstairs in the main lodge where I stayed. You can hear others through the floor or walls, but they have a white noise machine which solved that. The bed was so comfortable. Robes to use are toasty for bathroom trips. The coffee in the am is wonderful and strong :) Fireplace and surroundings are gorgeous!

David and Maggie were friendly, personable, and engaging. Our room was nice and cozy, clean. They went the extra mile with extras such as beverages, snacks, and toiletries available for guests. Breakfast was delicious. The view from the inn is amazing with short walk to waterfront with shops and restaurants.

The staff were very attentive, the grounds were beautiful and the Madrona room with en suite bath was luxurious and worth the splurge. The coffee and strawberry danish were the perfect breakfast, just as our dinner at the restaurant was exceptional.

Wonderful, delicious home-cooked breakfast! They also not only let us eat our Thai take-out in their dining area, they provided us with dinnerware and tossed the containers for us.

Friendly and caring “Innkeepers” who were warm and made you feel so welcomed. This was our first time to Whidbey Island and they had many good suggestions of places we should visit. The Inn was beautiful, clean, with amenities for our comfort and a gorgeous view! The breakfasts were delicious! Kudos to Maggie and David. We do hope to return!

Really enjoyed the surroundings— the water, the gardens. Also liked the creaky floors in an inn built in 1907. The plaid bathrobes were a nice touch.
