Set in Greta and with Hunter Valley Gardens reachable within 20 km, The Table Guest House offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Jo was such a wonderful host. We had a lovely weekend with breakfast included and a three course dinner (not inlcluded), and it was all nicely cooked and nicely presented. Jo's place is very dog friendly. Very cosy guest house and extremely comfortable beds. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely recommend The Table Guesthouse.

This beautifully historic hotel is located just 15 minutes' drive from the Hunter Valley Wine Region. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar followed by a meal at the on-site restaurant. It was a gorgeous hotel.. Loved the old vibe,, the history and loved loved loved the balcony so much we had a wine and cheese sunset one night. Rooms adequate and comfortable, no aircon but big windows to let the breeze in. Loved the dresser with tea and coffee.

Situated in Jesmond, 1.2 km from University of Newcastle, Shortland Budget Accommodation features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Clean & central to all my needs. Lots of car spaces & easy to access them. Also the showers in the bathroom are really good.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Sunnyside Tavern. Newly renovated rooms, nice and quiet and a beautiful old Tavern. Staff are lovely and very hospitable. We would definitely stay again.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from The University of Newcastle, Hotel Jesmond boasts a restaurant, a bar and a liquor store. It offers rooms with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. The food and hospitality was brilliant. Accommodation was no nonsense and clean. And the best shower I have had away from home in a hell of a long time.
